About the Photographer

I am based in Barnard Castle, Teesdale, Co. Durham in the North East of England and have been passionate about taking photographs for over 40 years.

These days, all of my work is based on a digital workflow using professional Nikon cameras and lenses. To maximise quality, I always use a RAW image format and process on colour calibrated equipment before printing or posting.

When on a commission, I will always have a spare camera and lens with me in case of equipment malfunction - whilst this has never yet happened, it is better to be safe than sorry.

I held an Associateship Distinction from the Royal Photographic Society until I resigned and still hold a Fellowship from the Society of International Nature & Wildlife Photographers.

I am happy to discuss any projects or requests that you may have so please contact me to see if I can help.
