December 2020

6th - Suspect this will be a quiet month although the roses don't seem to be aware of the calendar - still nice to see them.

6th - A few berries left for the wildlife to enjoy.

6th - Primroses in December? More growth on other plants including globe thistle and holly.

13th - Signs of life on the new climbing rose - hope winter does not treat it harshly.

13th - Having not seen the heron for a few days, spotted walking purposefully across the lawn before leaving.

19th - Back again - not for long this time as finding it hard to get to the fish buffet.....

20th - Found some fungus growing quietly in a corner. Would look like the wisteria may still be alive while the heather appears healthy.

24th - A cold theme this morning - interesting patterns on the conservatory roof, a frozen bird bath, a partially frozen pond and then an attempt at some snow.

30th - A continuing cold theme to end the year - garden with heavy frost and pond frozen over - including the "wet" area!

31st - A beautiful moon in daylight to end the year. The Tawnys are back in the chimney next door.
