1^st - Honeysuckle finally in flower while the climbing rose is climbing. Some colour appearing on the teasel.

1^st - Buddleia starting to flower while the Hostas are beginning to look quite sad. The purple loosestrife is getting there.

1^st - Even the water plants attract the insects while the cream spotted ladybird (I think) enjoys the Globe Thistle.

2^nd - Green shield bug(?) on the Globe Thistle.

4^th - White Buddleia starting to bloom nicely. Love the colours of the new holly growth.

10^th - Nice to see the fuchsia in bloom - never think it is going to make it! A generous gift of a pyres and pot. Honeysuckle finally recovering.

10^th - Bees still enjoying some nectar while the blues in the garden give a nice colour.

11^th - Another leaping salmon in the trellis while the purple loosestrife keeps getting taller.

11^th - Bees and flies are enjoying the flowers.

13^th - What a difference a couple of days make to the Leaping Salmon! Rowan berries will soon be ready for the birds.

15^th - Finally a nice Peace rose - it has not done very well at all this year.

16^th - Up close and personal with a Southern Hawker ovipositing by the garden pond.

17^th - Lords and Ladies fruiting nicely even if well hidden under nettles!

20^th - Mushrooms are starting to appear in the garden.

20^th - Insect heaven at the moment.

20^th - More insects and a 2-spot ladybird on the Teasel.

20^th - Insect on the Purple Loosestrife and one on the Buddleia.

22^nd - Seed case of Aquilegia and fresh Lady Emma Hamilton

22^nd - A spiders breakfast and long legged spider - a huntsman?

22^nd - Aphids all around....

22^nd - Insects all around.

22^nd - Amazing loops on the tops of the Globe Thistles

23^rd - Purple Loosestrife, Lords and Ladies along with Broad Leaved Heliborine

23^rd - Lady Emma Hamilton looking sweet whilst danger lurks in the yellow.

23^rd - Sitting in the middle of the web and then having a snack. Look at the legs on the third one!!

23^rd - Wood pigeon by the pond. Where are the ladybirds when you need them? Bee enjoying the Globe Thistle.

23^rd - Nice to see Commas back in the garden.

23^rd - How do they fly with parts of a wing missing? Peacocks.

23^rd - Enjoying the Buddleia

23^rd - Red Admiral and Small Tortoiseshells on Buddleia.

24^th - The Blackbirds have been enjoying the Rowan berries.

24^th - Yellow does attract the insects and this small day flying moth.

24^th - I sense an apple pie in a couple of weeks. Long legged spider again and fly eats fly.

24^th - How intricate the Honeysuckle flower is while I have not seen many crickets.

24^th - What a wonderful bush the Buddleia is......

25^th - Enjoying the Heather.

26^th - A shield bug?

28^th - Moved an open front nest box - will it get used? Fuchsia still going strong and a yellow rose.

28^th - Cleaning up!

29^th - Finally cut the rag tag meadow! The height of the Broad Leaved Heliborine.
