1st - Honeysuckle finally in flower while the climbing rose is climbing. Some colour appearing on the teasel.
1st - Buddleia starting to flower while the Hostas are beginning to look quite sad. The purple loosestrife is getting there.
1st - Even the water plants attract the insects while the cream spotted ladybird (I think) enjoys the Globe Thistle.
2nd - Green shield bug(?) on the Globe Thistle.
4th - White Buddleia starting to bloom nicely. Love the colours of the new holly growth.
10th - Nice to see the fuchsia in bloom - never think it is going to make it! A generous gift of a pyres and pot. Honeysuckle finally recovering.
10th - Bees still enjoying some nectar while the blues in the garden give a nice colour.
11th - Another leaping salmon in the trellis while the purple loosestrife keeps getting taller.
11th - Bees and flies are enjoying the flowers.
13th - What a difference a couple of days make to the Leaping Salmon! Rowan berries will soon be ready for the birds.
15th - Finally a nice Peace rose - it has not done very well at all this year.
16th - Up close and personal with a Southern Hawker ovipositing by the garden pond.
17th - Lords and Ladies fruiting nicely even if well hidden under nettles!
20th - Mushrooms are starting to appear in the garden.

23rd - Wood pigeon by the pond. Where are the ladybirds when you need them? Bee enjoying the Globe Thistle.

24th - I sense an apple pie in a couple of weeks. Long legged spider again and fly eats fly.
