6th - Insects, along with passengers, out on the heather today.
6th - No less than five ladybirds in view at once! A low level view of the crocuses.
10th - Enjoying the white crocus - could this be a white Snakeshead fritillary?
12th - Daffodils are nearly ready whilst the crocuses have a nice, rich colour.
12th - Oxlips and rhubarb.
12th - Unwelcome visitor on the new rose growth.
13th - Over 20 frogs in the pond today but they seem less vocal than in previous years.
13th - Female and male siskins on the feeders.
13th - Blackbird keeping up appearances.
17th - First Daffodil has flowered. The Lords & Ladies are doing well.
17th - These are still alive despite the recent frosts.
17th - Some nice colour appearing while the Oxlips are showing well.
17th - Bluebells continue to emerge while someone has lost a feather....
18th - The sun brought out a nice Comma, the Blue Tit just fits into the box while the Dunnock was sunning itself.
21st - Coal Tit enjoying a cone, two Tree Sparrows in a tree and a Blackbird enjoying an apple.
21st - Love the colours on the crocuses while the Ladybird looks good against the heather.
22nd - Amazing amount of minute life even on a tree bud! Large number of green flies.
22nd - Lovely to see the new growth.
22nd - There must be nectar in there somewhere...
22nd - Blackbird enjoying one of last years apples. Sun brought a Comma out.
24th - Love the colours you can find under the front hedge!
24th - Delicate shades of yellow and white while red cherry looks good against the yellow lichen.
24th - Wonder if this nest will be reused this year? Pleased to see some more Snakeshead Fritillary appearing in a different part of the garden.
25th - Sun brings out the butterflies....
25th - Pair of Bullfinches feeding on the Willow - the female kept hidden! Daffodils are looking good.
25th - Very quick view of a beetle while the heather proved attractive to the bees.
26th - Another view of a Comma while the bee keeps foraging.
26th - The flies are enjoying the warmth of the last few days.
26th - Who owns those two tiny yellow spots under the leaf? The number of bugs on a tree bud is increasing!
27th - Even more bugs on a tree bud!
28th - A pair of Mallards found the pond and ate a large amount of the frog spawn.....
31st - The month ends with snow - should be rhubarb under there and a bird bath!
