2nd - A cool day but the insects were enjoying the heather while the bud on Dublin Bay gives a hint of the colour to come.
3rd - Clematis suddenly burst into flower. Will have to replant the irises for next year!
3rd - Bee enjoying the lungwort.
5th - Early morning frost patterns on the conservatory roof.
6th - Hostas starting to appear while one of the northern marsh orchids is spotless? Bugle starting to show well.
6th - Aquilegia will soon flower while a fern starts to unfold. The first of the poppies is almost here.
6th - Mrs. Tawny Owl enjoying the early morning light compared to Mr. Tawny Owl taking the evening sun.
9th - Something is hatching and the nest is being tidied up!
9th - Hostas are growing well as is the bugle. The oxlips are over for this year.
9th - Jacobs ladder looking good as are the forget-me-nots. Can't wait to see the colours these poppies will be.
9th - Apple blossom hopefully going to be apples!
9th - The daisies always seem to be able to thrive while another clematis is budding.
11th - Aquilegia growing nicely while the ferns continue to unfold. Pleased to see some leaves on the new pear tree.
11th - White nettles and a surprise teasel appearing. Bees still enjoying the heather.
11th - Looks like there will soon be some rhubarb while the strawberry plants are looking good. Clematis starting to flower.
13th - Looks rather like toad spawn but suspect it is very late or unfertilised.
14th - Finally managed to get to the top and get the first glimpse of the world outside.
14th - Bluebells are nice while the Hostas are coming through. Still some primroses.
14th - Snakeshead fritillarie seed heads while the bees are enjoying the bouts of brief sunshine.
16th - Yet more rain - the Clematis is flowering well while there is some blossom on the apple tree.
17th - Now that I can climb to the edge you can see how big I am.... while the adult takes in the evening rays. The firs looking good against a dark sky.
20th - First one I have seen this year but their scat proved they are in and out of the garden on a regular basis.
22nd - Am getting bigger and spending a lot of time on this edge. Spot the dandelion? Love these colours of the clematis.
25th - Clematis looking good and pleased to see both "Leaping Salmon" and Wisteria are still growing.
25th - Some "good" nettles with lot's of Yellowrattle. Potential apples?
25th - Hostas and orchids doing well - some plants blooming in the pond.
25th - Aquiliga, bugle and forget-me-nots all doing nicely thank you.
25th - Poppy still growing while rhubarb and strawberries may compete for the cream....
27th - Cherry blossom looking great today.
27th - Bluebells appearing in front hedge while the Hawthorn blossom is so delicate in close up. Holly still growing.
27th - Vicious looking thorns amongst a delicate yellow flower. Snakeshead fritillary seed heads and a lovely colour on the Clematis.
27th - Some flowers beginning to appear on the orchid while the first poppy of the year is a deep red colour.
